I was raised in the northern mountains of New Mexico and was always exploring the mesas and canyons with my brothers, thus making me a tom-boy my mother couldn't dress in frillies!!!
Nature and beauty surrounded me which is the foundation of my artistic inclinations and I've always found peace within from them.
The many years of dealing with the consequences of my accident (Frida and Me story) made me very strong and yearning to help others avoid the suffering my family and I endured in those years.
I believe doing creative acts, being in nature, self-care and pets help heal a darkened soul.
