Bridget Budd is a trauma-informed, board-certified health coach and former corporate executive who traded the pursuit of success for a deeper search for truth. Now, as a novelist, she writes stories that hold up a mirror to the roles we play, the patterns we repeat, and the quiet awakenings that begin when those roles no longer fit.
Her debut novel, Behind the Mirror, is a raw and reflective journey of emotional unraveling and self-discovery—an exploration of how survival strategies become identities, and how freedom begins when we finally see the lens that shaped us.
Blending insights from psychology, spirituality, and self-inquiry, Bridget’s work explores transformation as something that begins not with action, but with awareness.
She divides her time between Marco Island, Florida, and Marvin, North Carolina, where she lives with her husband and two opinionated dogs. When she’s not writing, she’s reflecting on the messy beauty of being human—or volunteering with Pablo, her certified therapy dog, in schools, medical facilities, and community programs.
