Carlos Luis (C.L.) likes to blend genres in his writing, using the format to tell diverse stories that focus on the immigrant experience, love, faith, and culture. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, his stories usually center on Latino characters navigating the complexities of life.
When not behind a screen and keyboard putting "pen to paper," Carlos helps authors and marketers with bespoke video campaigns. He is the Creative Director of Video at the William Morrow Group and HarperCollins Children's Books, imprints of HarperCollins Publishers.
His favorite authors include Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Ian Fleming.
