As a German-Dutch writer living between languages, cultures, and cities, I’m drawn to the quiet spaces of human experience – where appreciation, belonging, and gratitude meet loneliness, loss, and the fragile balance of mental well-being.
Writing became my way of giving these themes a voice – quietly, and in a way that feels true to who I am.
My stories are set in atmospheric, multilingual European settings, where connection develops slowly and meaning is often found in the smallest moments.
My debut novel, The Quiet in Us, is a contemporary love story unfolding across Amsterdam, Stockholm, Paris, Vienna and Berlin. It opens a planned trilogy following the evolving lives of Erynn and Emelle.
