Robert V. Joseph was born in Oakland, California and raised in several locations in Northern California. He graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in African and African American Studies with a minor in English. He has spent time as a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and New York City. His life journey includes experience as an actor, producer, real estate investor, and teacher. He is also a martial artist with a black belt from Shotokan Karate of America. "Words From The Spirit" is his first work as an author. He is at work on his next book at the present time. He shares his passion for personal development in his books and when he speaks at events across the United States.
