Gideon Chandler is in trouble.

When a brilliant scientist takes off with the only known sample of a powerful, and potentially deadly, drug, Gideon, head of a top-secret government agency, knows his best chance of finding the scientist is by sending himself and two of his agents undercover to gain the confidence of her only close friends, her three neighbors.
