I’ve never been anyone’s first choice. Not growing up, not in the military, and definitely not since I got back. Hell, I had to move to someone else’s home town because I didn’t belong anywhere. Then I meet Daisy. The first woman who makes me feel like I could be enough. But Daisy is off limits.
