Girl next door… good girl… tragedy— that is how most in my life would have described me.

I followed the rules; I came from a family that was respected with a father who selflessly sacrificed himself to save others.

Church on Sundays, straight A student, and overall a future community leader…

I prided myself on these things— on the name my family has poured their blood, sweat, and literal lives into. I had planned on upholding the future everyone expects from me— until they came into my life; my stalkers.

College is nothing like it should have been.

Everything I once knew was- gone.

Everything I thought I wanted - changed.

How did I— the girl who wanted nothing more than an ordinary life— become a darkest desire?

I never imagined myself as the object of someone’s lust— as the reason for their darkness— but maybe I had something dark within myself. Because now, the darkness has followed me-drawing me in- consuming me and I, will never be the same .
