One the authors' favorite characters is Aloysius Quinn. He sits amongst the hoard of commuters completely unnoticed. He is an old man, in his early nineties, wearing a grey sweater and a Kangol hat, lost in his own illusions, almost as oblivious to the rush about him as he is to them. He dwells in the moments, feeling his teeth, each individually with his tongue. He stopped bothering to count them a long time ago.
This is a perfect book to read when you have twenty minutes to spare, to connect with the life of one of the thousands of faces you walk past everyday. You may even find a piece of yourself between these pages!
