Venture capitalist Cara Sutta has used an android built in her image to parade around as her, while she takes a secret, extended leave of absence from her home and career obligations. While Cara has been trekking across the galaxy, her android counterpart has been busy amid her inner circle of family and friends, specifically striking up a romance with a co-worker. Cara returns from her extended vacation and wishes to put her android counterpart out of commission. But she discovers that is not so easy as the android refuses to terminate and explores a side of life to her persona that is spontaneous, romantic, wild, and dangerous.

Author's Note: This is not your average feel-good science fiction story. It's a story about how things can go wrong with an android along the lines of the movie Ex Machina. Although, this story was written long before Ex Machina was released (in 2007 actually). It was just a befitting time in the author's life to publish "An Android's Teenage Dream" some ten years later. So don't expect a happy conclusion here. You've been warned!
