"Rbt Emenegger wasn’t born an UFOlogist. As revealed by others now researching & investigating ufology, chance happenings can entice one into this intriguing venture. He was a '65 UCLA film graduate with a music minor & began work as a director & jingle writer for ads for products such as Honda, Mattel, Taco Bell, MAX Factor etc. He produced & directed 10 original sf feature films & 4 tv documentaries. He won numerous 1st place awards & gold medals in domestic & foreign film festivals. He said he began making these film specials out of curiosity. In '73, Norton Air Force Base (CA) officials suggested to him & fellow producer Allan Sandler a documentary to incorporate UFO information, including genuine footage of a '71 UFO landing at Holloman Air Force Base (NM) & communication with an alien group. Tho promised, no film was ever presented. The documentary, hosted by Rod Sterling, Jose Ferrer & Burgess Meredith, was released in '74 as 'UFOs: Past Present & Future' & won a Golden Globe Award. The alleged Holloman UFO landing was discussed & depicted with illustrations. Later updated & released as 'UFOs: It Has Begun.'
