M. K. Casperson grew up in the Puget Sound area playing games in the woods. Eventually, they spilled onto paper and she became a writer. She is somewhere in the middle of two dozen siblings, was homeschooled, and is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
