Ali Harper writes feminist crime fiction because she likes stories where women are at the centre of the action. Her latest novel, The Runaway, will be published in November 2019 (ebook Sept 2019) and is the second in the series featuring No Stone Unturned, a missing persons' bureau run by Lee and her best friend, Jo. The first, The Disappeared, was published in 2018 by HarperCollins as part of their One More Chapter series.

Ali lives in Leeds, where she teaches creative writing, has just completed a PhD on Chick Noir, and plays netball badly.
