Kathleen Marcath has a B.A. degree in Deaf Community Studies. She is a passionate advocate for bilingual education and works to create fun and engaging materials that promote literacy in both English and ASL. Years of experience as a special education Sign Language supporter have kindled her passion for helping children reach their educational potential. Kathleen is delighted to help fill the need for picture books illustrated in American Sign Language. She makes her home in Michigan, where the best stories often begin on a hike with her grandchild, at a ball game, or simply sharing time with her family.
