John Price is professor emeritus at the University of Victoria where he taught Japanese, Asian Canadian, and Pacific history for twenty-one years. He is the director of the SSHRC-funded project “Asian Canadians on Vancouver Island: Race, Indigeneity and the Transpacific,” the author of Orienting Canada: Race, Indigeneity and the Transpacific, and A Woman in Between: Searching for Dr. Victoria Chung, co-authored with Ningping Yu.
