Rosalinde Block has been writing and illustrating for children for over 40 years. Her books have won Mom’s Choice Awards as well as endorsements from American Ballet Theatre star Misty Copeland and the International Baccalaureate. Her stories, starring a vibrant cast of characters, evoke humor, altruism, self-awareness, vulnerability and earnestness—“parables for the young.” Born and raised in St. Louis, Rosalinde moved to New York City after graduating from Sarah Lawrence College. She is a mother and a wife. Some say Rosalinde has a “PhD in life.” Drawing from her own childhood, the priceless job of parenthood as well as her many years of teaching, these vast experiences have made her an effective and inspirational writer.
