Loring Woart Batten (1859-1946) was an American clergyman. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Harvard in 1885 and his Bachelor of Divinity from Philadelphia Division School in 1887. He was a Rector at Saint Mark’s Church in New York City from 1899-1911. He was a lecturer and professor Old Testament at General Theological Seminary from 1904-1933.
