Anil Sawan is a writer, poet, and wildlife photographer whose work celebrates the fragile beauty of India’s wilderness. His lens and pen have carried him deep into the forests of India, where he has spent time observing the untold stories of tigers, leopards, elephants, and the indigenous communities who share their home.

Blending lyrical storytelling with a passion for wildlife conservation, Anil’s poetry captures not only the visual splendor of the natural world but also its emotional and spiritual heartbeat. His debut poetry collection, Aaranya – Verses from the Living Wilderness, earned acclaim for its evocative imagery and deep reverence for nature.

In his second book, Kabini: Whispers of Myth and Wilderness, Anil deepens this journey, offering readers a rare fusion of myth, culture, and environmental truth. Through his art, he hopes to awaken a sense of wonder, empathy, and responsibility towards the wild places we still have the power to protect.

When not in the field tracking light and shadow, Anil can be found in corporate boardrooms drawing project schedules and leading Digital Transformations.
