As anyone who knows me will tell you, I live and breathe writing and editing. I've been a writer "forever". My working career involved extensive technical writing, research and analysis. I'm now editing fiction novels and memoirs as well as writing my own novels.
When my daughter had her first non-fiction title published in 2009, I had to write something of my own... three romantic women's fiction novels later and I am so hooked my cats have threatened to leave and my husband just smiles and nods when I tell him latest with my characters.
My debut novel Winds of Change involved a steep learning curve. I must have re-written it about three times before my beta reader/editor was close to satisfied. Number two - New Beginnings - just took off... usually at 5:30 a.m. Road to Tomorrow required extensive research into the working life of a border collie before I could craft the ending.
