Som Phin is a Cambodian-American author who writes emotionally rich historical romance and transmigration novels centered on Khmer identity, memory, and love across time.

Her stories often follow modern Cambodian-American women who find themselves drawn—or transported—into the world of ancient Angkor, where destiny, history, and the past refuse to remain silent. Blending romance, reincarnation, and cultural mythology, her work reimagines Cambodian history through deeply human characters searching for belonging, healing, and second chances.

Som Phin is the author of After Cambodia, There Was Us, a mother–daughter story spanning generations of survival and love, as well as the Three Kingdoms of Angkor transmigration novels, including The Love That History Erased and The Lotus Between Worlds: The Stone Lotus.

Through her writing, she seeks to honor Khmer voices—both past and present—while telling stories where love endures beyond war, time, and silence.
