Lama Karma Thinley Rinpoche, born in 1931, is an important master of the Sakya and Karma Kagyu traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Over the last fifty years, Rinpoche has founded centres and taught extensively in Canada, the USA, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He has hundreds of devoted students, both Tibetan and Western, and is highly regarded as a poet and artist. Rinpoche divides his time between his monastery Tegchen Legshay Ling in Boudhanath, Nepal and Toronto, Canada.
