Brian Gresko is the editor of the anthology When I First Held You (Berkley Books/Penguin). At the heart of his work lies a fascination with culture, gender roles, and parenting. His essays and journalism have appeared on the Huffington Post, Salon, TheAtlantic.com, the Daily Beast, The Brooklyn Rail, the Paris Review Daily, the Rumpus, and the Los Angeles Review of Books, among numerous others. In print, he has contributed to Poets & Writers Magazine, Glimmer Train Stories and Slice Literary magazine. He is currently at work on a novel.
