Dan Harris is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.A. in English. He served in the Armed forces in Vietnam and worked for Procter and Gamble for thirty-two years before retiring and beginning a new career as a writer. He has had three novels published; in addition, his short prose has appeared in Folly and the Alembic.
